We have bought into so many lies about what social interaction, especially about human intimacy, is about. It's now nearly impossible to see an example of a healthy relationship.

Dear SA Lifeline Foundation

Last night Susan and Doug Morrison gave me a copy of your foundation's "Understanding Pornography and Sexual Addiction, A Resource for LDS Parents and Leaders". It is MARVELOUS.

What a wonderful service you are doing by making this and carrying on so valiantly to warn and educate the world at large and the LDS community specifically.

I hope your efforts "bear fruit" abundantly that others may avoid and/or overcome pornography and sexual addictions.

Thank you so much for your efforts in this area. I discovered my husband's "problem" three years ago and I felt I had no resources. As a result, I just turned inward and did not know what to do. This is still a "problem" for our marriage. But, now I have inforation that will help me on my recovery journey.

I can tell you personally much of this is true. Some things I don't understand, but my terrible addiction to porn, which started many years ago innocently enough, changed my brain. I suffered from anxiety - which I could not understand why. I had sympathetic (nervous system) reactions in situations that did not call for it. Porn damages. I consider myself an addict. I been clean for one year by the Grace of God. I believe that He is the only Power that can help.
