I've heard that the Discovery Channel once aired a show called "The Science of Sin" where pornography use was compared to cocaine. The imaging machines used to map the brains of the willing participants showed that the effects of use were the same--one chemically induced and the other through the video. Chilling! I was never able to find the show, but certainly wish I could. Looks like this book will FINALLY bridge that gap for me. Porn and drugs hit the same brain areas.
