We cannot know how to properly deal with something if we do not know what it is and how to work with it.

Pornography and sexual addiction are a true behavioral, brain addiction. If we do not understand that, and simply tell the addict to “just stop,” we will be disappointed constantly. When we become educated about the addiction, we will learn to set and hold appropriate boundaries, and encourage recovery action and behavior, but never enable a life-crippling and relationship-damaging addiction.
