Welcome to the Women’s Online Discussion Group

woman-row-boat_1There are hundreds of women across the world who are recovering from betrayal trauma with SAL. There are untold thousands more who still suffer in silence.

This forum is a place where we would like you to feel that we understand as perhaps few can.

This is a safe place for sharing, for asking questions, and for supporting one another in our common struggle.

Each week we will be posting a new recovery-based discussion topic.  We encourage you to comment, share your insight, and even submit your own question or post.

The goal of this forum is to create an additional space for discussion, community, for sisterhood, and for healing.

We hope this will be an uplifting resource for you as you work your recovery, and a reminder throughout the week that you are part of a fellowship who understands, and that there is a pathway of healing.

Please submit your questions or posts to our contact page.  We look forward to hearing from you and sharing our journey together!

*All posts and comments will be moderated by our Webmaster.  Our purpose in sharing is to discuss our own recovery, not to discuss the sex addict.  We share from a recovery point of view.

    1. Sherri, I am so sorry for what you are going through. It is difficult to express the depth of what you are going through right now. You are not alone. When I was in this state of shock and confusion, the best thing I did was focus on my own recovery from the betrayal trauma I was experiencing. There are many 12 Step meetings both in-person and online where you can get started on our Find A Meeting page. Also, there are some books that will help you become educated on both sexual addiction and betrayal trauma on our Education page. If you’d like to just reach out and talk to someone who understands feel free to email me at becky@salifeline.org and I will send you my phone number and we can find a time to chat. My heart is with you. Take a deep breath. You will find your way ❤️
