Lauren Nielson

Lauren Nielson is a Breathwork Facilitator and Somatic Coach with a deep passion for wellness and healing. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, she finds joy in spending time in the sun, on the water, in the mountains, and on the slopes. Since 2018, Lauren has worked as a fitness instructor, but her personal journey as an endurance athlete led her to a deeper realization that true wellness isn’t just physical.
Through her own experiences, Lauren discovered the profound wisdom held in the body and the powerful connection between the mind and nervous system. Her own healing path inspired her to guide others in reconnecting with themselves. Today, she holds space for individuals to come back home to their bodies, to find safety within, and to tune into the whisperings of their nervous systems.
Lauren’s work is rooted in helping others experience a life of deep presence, expansion, and true aliveness.
Amber Parkinson

Amber Parkinson is a trauma-informed somatic coach with nearly 20 years of experience in the wellness and fitness industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Illinois State University and has worked extensively as a personal trainer, wellness coach, group exercise instructor, and fitness manager. Now based in Central Illinois, Amber serves as an Integrative Trauma Practitioner at Edge Counseling & Wellness, where she supports women in healing through body-based practices that restore connection and nervous system regulation.
She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Aurora University, with plans to continue her work in private practice, offering both individual and group support for women navigating trauma and healing.
Amber is also the co-founder of Harvest Hope Collaborative, a nonprofit organization that works to reduce mental health stigma, advocate for systemic issues like incarceration and poverty, and offer low-cost or free counseling services—including sessions with a therapy dog.
At the SA Lifeline Women’s Retreat in Utah, Amber will lead a somatic yoga class designed to gently guide participants back into their bodies, fostering embodied safety, emotional resilience, and deeper healing from betrayal trauma.
Debbie Reid

Educated in Social Work with an emphasis in substance use treatment, Debbie Reid brings a crossover skill set from chemical addiction treatment to process addiction treatment that gives her and our clinic a solid footing in understanding both worlds and how they often interconnect. Her passion is the therapeutic use of Psychodrama as it helps her clients acknowledge, engage, and accept oneself.
Family systems are an especially important factor in her work, and she can often be found in session with multi-generational families addressing change as a group. Debbie has an eye for detail, deep empathy, and a firm resolution to assist her clients in becoming their best selves. Always learning, she is a powerful Circles of Grace Therapist who encourages, supports, and heals with authenticity.
