What you can expect at the 2023 SAL Women’s Workshop…
Eva graduated from Utah Valley University with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Certified Social Worker (CSW). She has experience helping children, adolescents, individuals and families struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, and betrayal trauma. She uses strength-based, solution focused and person-centered approaches. Eva uses several therapeutic modalities including:
Eva is a single mom of four energetic children. While already fighting the enormous uphill battle of motherhood, she is one of the happiest and strongest people. Eva loves going on walks and breathing the fresh air in the mornings, and loves to attend 12 step recovery meetings, where she has learned to swim beautifully, rather than drown in every day life. Eva adores spending time with her kids and family.
Julie Lee is not a typical keynote speaker.
Her personal experiences with human connection changed the trajectory of her life, ignited the passion behind her I See You mission, and made her into a powerful advocate of connection. Through research and stories that are both vulnerable and inspiring, Julie delivers the wholehearted message that connection has the ability to up-level -even transform- individuals, families, and communities; a relevant message that is right on time.
Julie Lee is the author of I See You; How Compassion and Connection Save Lives and the children’s book, Broccolipunzle; A Girl with Extraordinary Hair. With over 100 episodes on her podcast I See You, she empowers thousands of listeners to succeed in relationships by embracing human connection.
Julie lives in Utah with her two children, Samuel and Lydia.
As the co-owner and CEO of Therapy Utah, Kathy Kinghorn is an expert in treating addiction and trauma of all kinds.
Kathy spent 20 years in the corporate world before transitioning to therapy and training under Dr. Patrick Carnes. She is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) Supervisor who has spoken at numerous national conferences, symposiums, webinars, and local venues. She is on the advisory board for Sundance Canyon Academy, a Field Instructor for the University of Utah, and she teaches part-time at University of Kentucky. She is also the author of the ebook, ‘The Long Road to Recovery’ and the voice of ThreeMinuteTherapist.
Kathy believes strongly in helping others improve their lives, and works hard to help every client discover new ways of seeing themselves and the world around them. Her leadership has been a key part of shaping Therapy Utah’s unique holistic approach to recovery—from individual therapy to group initiatives like the LIFT Program, which she leads for clients who are working to overcome Betrayal Trauma.

S.A. Lifeline is pleased to offer scholarships to cover the registration fee for two individuals. Note the scholarship DOES NOT include lodging or travel expenses. If you would like to apply for the scholarship, please click below to submit a short explanation of why you would be a good candidate for the scholarship.
Please be aware that applying for a scholarship does not secure you a spot for the workshop.
