My favorite thing about this Retreat was being able to speak my mind without guarding myself and checking if I am about to say something I shouldn't. I also loved the informal conversations and hearing my story in others. I feel I have more courage to do what I need to because God is at my center, I truly want and feel inspired to help others like me.
I learned how much God loves me and have new friends for life.
The connection I felt with other women was my favorite part, women who understood my pain and who offered me hope. The activities were just right and our schedule was not too jam-packed. I have learned new tools to help me in the steps and I have a new connection with other women. This was phenomenal. Thank you.
I now have real tools and real women to help me utilize these tools in my daily life.
This Retreat pointed me to God. And made me hold still long enough to start to know and trust Him again.
The step studies and meditations gave the whole experience a spiritual anchor that shaped everything. This Retreat is a foundation for the difficult things happening in my life right now.
